“The first time I went to Carmel was in 1988, I’d been doing somework in Los Angeles all week and I just wanted to get away from it all. I started driving up the Pacific Coast Highway and just kept on going. Eventually I arrived at Carmel and I decided to stay all weekend. I can’t remember exactly where I stayed but it was close to the sea for sure. When it was time to go home, I really didn’t want to, I was happy in Carmel and very relaxed. I went back several times in the 90s and I can’t wait to go back there again. Carmel is highly recommended as a place to visit and a place to relax, I love it!”
